I mean, really people. REALLY? REALLY? IS it that hard to sit down, look at a character model, and get the freaking eye color right?

Chris has deep stormy blue eyes. Wesker 'had' hazy gray-green ones.

Being a n00bfag to the series and thinking that because Christopher's eyes magically became brown in "Resident Evil 5" (quote-unquote because I still refuse to see it as a true Resident Evil *writhes in her fury*) that they really are is not an excuse. And I know that a lot of people have probably never seen the character model for Wesker without his shades on before... but why is it the assumption that EVERYONE with blonde hair also has to have blue eyes? Arugh.

Yeah, so I was sick today. Stomach flu. Not fun. Had to stay home from work even cause I felt like I was going to puke every few minutes. I slept for more than half the day away. When I woke up though I just felt way too tired to do much of anything really; couldn't seem to draw, definitely couldn't write. So I decided to go and poke around FF.net for a few fanfics to read to kill the time, and do you know what? NONE of them got neither Christopher's nor Wesker's eyes correctly! It was just driving me nuts.:pissedoff:

Every time I read "...Chris widened his big brown eyes..." or, "...Wesker's once-blue irises were..." I just wanted to kick a small child! RRRRRRRGH! It was just making me go insane.

Now I know, I know; it's my fault for subjecting myself to "bad fanfiction", right? And it shouldn't be such a big deal. :ashamed: but to someone with OCD it is kind of a big deal when someone claims that the color of something important such as, oh... I don't know... THE COLOR OF SOMEONE'S EYE is incorrect!! :disbelief:

So me being me, I had to say something about it to get it off my chest.
So yar. There you have it.

I'm just really anal and like to use my journals to rant about random shit. It's true that I know people here on DA who color--specifically Wesker's--their eyes the other colors I've listed, but for some reason that doesn't bug me as much. It was just all these bloody fanfics today. I must have read a good... 12 of them.

I'm sorry that I haven't been submitting anything recently (I really do have more 100 theme pictures and a ton of other shit I'm working on); I just haven't finished anything that I want to put up quite yet, thanks to work eating all my time and making me incredibly tired when I get home. Urgh, small children... they require so much energy. @_@

Also, I mostly just wanted to get that old journal off of my front page since Chris is definitely in DCS (probably a short/small role, but I can't complain) and Wesker probably will/might be. Here's a hopin'. Although I'm still convinced aspects of the game will be total shit, whilst other aspects just look purely amazing. I don't know what to feel. @~@
