Just a bust of my Resident Evil OC, Aeron Ginovaef. He's Nicholai Ginovaef's bastard son. Being a bastard, Aeron's got some issues. He can be quite the depressed little thing at times... I like to draw him in sobered moods with dour expressions on occasion, because of reasons. It's actually something rather therapeutic.
I really just wanted to play around with lighting on this one, but the idea was a red light from whatever Umbrella facility he lives at washing over him. ...Aeron's not really a "bad guy", but Umbrella is the only home he's ever known.
Also drawn as a promotional piece for sketch-bust commissions.

You know how pretty this boy is right? I really like the red light, makes him look very contemplative and lost in thought. Does go with that contemplative vibe that you mentioned. Can imagine there is rather allot going on behind his eyes. Very pretty eyes they are too, probably not hurt at all by the fact the sadness makes them look quite gentle. Love the collar bone piercing, you know someone doesn't mind the pain when they have something like that. Gorgeous Ms Stars.
