Last drawing I managed to get done in time for Chris Redfield Day. C:

I actually doodled this up a while ago, in a journal I have (of sorts). It was never really meant to become anything; I use said journal for jotting down ideas for my fan fiction, and doodling out rough ideas for scenes here and there, as well as scribbling down lyrics to songs that happen to be feeding my muse at the moment.

Well, I had just heard the song " Pieces " by Red ([link]) and as I was writing down the words (which you can see, on the page to the left), this image came to mind, and I simply had to draw it. I didn't have any other paper on hand, so I did it in the journal, and it turned out way better then expected. (my apologies in advance for the lines and the flowers)

There really was a reason for drawing this. Personally, I'm not really very fond of allowing Wesker to show too many emotions, because (for any of you who know me) I really, REALLY hate bastardization of cannon characters, but bare with me here. While occasionally “angsty”, my Wesker muse is far from “emo”.
In my fan-fiction Albert was deeply in love with William Birkin, once. When Umbrella tore the two of them apart, he tried to act un-phased, but secretly it ate at him, made him bitter. Still he refused to show those emotions, or even acknowledge their existence, for several years. Not until much later on in the story, when he comes to find out that it wasn’t William’s desire to end what they had together, and that it was Umbrella’s fault that their relationship was brought to an end.
In that one instant, Wesker comes completely unglued, and (after a fit of rage) collapses to the ground, unable to hold in the tears. Chris just does his best to console his captain, but it is to little avail. Wesker is too stubborn and proud for such things, and once he gets his wits about him again he ends up punching Chis a good one in the face. But while he was broken, Christopher’s gentle embrace was the only thing that comforted him, and inwardly he knows that he needs him, as much as he hates to admit it, even to just himself.
Chris didn’t mind taking the blow though. He reads the things that Wesker can not or is unwilling to admit.
